Senchi Ferry Library Project

From your hands to theirs.  A  $100 donation will buy a brick with your name on it.  The brick will help build the structure of the library.

Each brick used to build this library will be made by hand.  Sand and concrete is carried by wheelbarrow and mixed with shovels.  Water is hauled in buckets and added to the sand.  Shovels will once again be used to blend the sand and water.  The concrete mixture is scooped into a mold - one at a time - and placed in the sun to dry for three days.  It took approximately 4 hours in the hot sun for our team to make 85 bricks.
